“A Bimini top can obstruct access to cleats when tying off a rope at the boat ramp. I thought there should be an easy way to overcome this, so I invented this. My design would also avoid rubbing and wearing, which could provide added peace of mind for concerned boat owners.”
Features
- The rectangular plastic invention would measure approximately 4 inches long, 3.5-4 inches tall, and 2.5 inches wide; Fits multiple frame rail sizes
- It is designed to secure into position to lift the Bimini top about 4 to 5 inches from where it would normally be positioned
- Using this product, the Bimini would be lifted away from the boat so the helmsman can access the cleat for quick and unhindered rope attachment while requiring just one hand
- This invention would also prevent wear on the top and the boat (keeps the top from rubbing and wearing out the boot or sock on the top)
